Computer Forensic Services Named a Top 10 Electronic Discovery Service Provider in the 2006 Socha-Gelbmann Electronic Discovery Survey for its Experience, Reputation, and Capacity.

The 2006 Socha-Gelbmann Electronic Discovery Survey, a prestigious annual survey conducted by Socha Consulting LLC and Gelbmann & Associates, examines the state of electronic discovery services and software.

Computer Forensic Services is ranked in the "Top 10 Electronic Discovery Service Providers" for experience and reputation--defined as the "length and depth of the providers' experience in the EDD industry, the breadth and depth of the organizations' offerings and their reputations" and for capacity--defined as the "level of resources that providers dedicated to the EDD market."1

According to George Socha, "We started with more than 300 categories and subcategories of information, set percentage weights for each category and subcategory and gathered information for each criterion."1 The information gathered was from 91 organizations, representing a cross-section of the industry, including law firms, corporations, and service and software providers. By comparing the current year's results with preceding years, the report also includes projections for 2006 through 2008.
